Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-May 2023, Uzbekistan imported 3,816 electric vehicles from 10 countries worth US$120 million, the Agency of Statistics of Uzbekistan said in a state,emt.

Imports of electric vehicles increased by 2,846 units or almost 4 times compared to the corresponding period of last year.

It should be noted that 3,480 electric vehicles were imported from China in the reporting period.

Uzbekistan also imported electric vehicles from Hong Kong (256 cars), Germany (42), UAE (16), South Korea (11) and the USA (6).
