Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Over the first 11 months of 2024, Uzbekistan imported 3.8 million mobile phones, according to the Statistics Agency.

This figure has already surpassed the total for 2023, during which 3.4 million devices were imported.

The total import value for 2024 reached US$346.5 million.

China remains the leading supplier of mobile phones to Uzbekistan, accounting for 3.1 million devices.

Vietnam holds the second position, supplying 535,500 phones, including 130,000 delivered in the fall months.

India ranks third with an import volume of 110,700 devices.

Additionally, imports from Hong Kong have increased, with 43,200 phones delivered over 11 months.

The combined share of all other countries amounted to 5,100 mobile phones.
