Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July 2024, Uzbekistan imported nearly 2.2 million mobile phones from abroad, amounting to a total of US$200.9 million, according to preliminary data from the State Statistics Agency.

The report indicates that China was the main supplier, accounting for 1.7 million devices. An additional 339,400 phones were imported from Vietnam.

Uzbekistan also imported around 59,400 mobile phones from India, 19,800 from Hong Kong, and 3,300 from the UAE.
