Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2023, Uzbekistan imported 5,403 electric vehicles worth US$167 million, the press service of the Statistics Agency reported.

The volume of imports of electric vehicles compared to the same period last year increased by almost 5 times (by 4289 units).

Electric vehicles were imported from six countries, 9 out of 10 from China:
