Part of the foundations of broader cooperation between the two states is the signing of a military agreement, Vadai noted.
Niyazov said that details of the agreement were to be worked out over the next 20 days and the document could be signed by the end of the year, MTI of Hungary reported.
The agreement is expected to include the purchase of artillery weapons, the modernisation of Uzbek armoured vehicles and military training know-how, he said.
