The event was held to strengthen cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia. It was organized by Moscow-based charity fund “Strana Talantov” at support of Uzbek businessperson Davron Ibragimov.

Sergey Grigoryants played chess at 22 boards. It should be noted that Russia’s Aleksander Morozovech should participate in the event, but he get sick and could not travel to Uzbekistan. Grigoryants replaced him.

Russian grandmaster underlined strong performance of Uzbek young talents. During the event, the participants analyzed mistakes and received autographs of Grigoryants.

The participants received certificates and gifts at the end of the event.
