Uzbekistan Havo Yollari to receive two Il-114-100 airplanes in 2009
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) will receive two Il-114-100 aircrafts, produced at the Tashkent Aircraft Production Plant named after Chkalov (TAPOiCh), in 2009.

The airline will receive the first airplanes till the end of September 2009 and the second one in December 2009. Both aircrafts will be used to carry out internal flights.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and TAPOiCh signed an agreement on supply of four Il-114-100 aircrafts in April 2007. The cost of the project is US$50 million and it is financed due to credits of National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity, Fund of Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and own resources of the Uzbek airline.

In line with agreement, TAPOiCh will supply two more Il-114-100 aircrafts till the end of 2010.

TAPOiCh delivered the third Il-114-100 aircraft to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari in February 2009. Earlier, TAPOiCh constructed two Il-114-100 airplanes in 2002 and 2009.

It is expected that Il-114-100 aircrafts will replace old-dated Soviet-made aircrafts in internal flights of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.
