The Uzbek airline said it signed agreement on cooperation with Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Glavniy Center Svyazi I sputnikovih system” (Russia).

Aircrafts of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari received registration code 437 and re-programming of emergency radio-range beacons was carried out. The company said it is completing re-equipment of desktops of the Coordination Center of Search and Rescue, which organizes search and rescue of passengers and crew of aircrafts, which crash in the territory of Uzbekistan.

The negotiations is underway on purchase of specialized software for receiving and processing emergency alerts at Cospas-Sarsat system and employees of dispatcher services will undergo training.

The Uzbek airline said it will complete all necessary works, needed to join the system, by the end of 2009.
