Uzbekistan GTL starts selling liquefied gas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 June, the first batch of liquefied gas produced by GTL in the amount of 161 tons, at a starting price of 3,120,552 52 soums per ton.

Liquefied gas will be supplied on the terms of delivery of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is a fuel that is a mixture of propane and butane, formed under pressure. During the production process, the cluster changes and changes from a gaseous state to a liquid state, thereby reducing the volume, which facilitates further transportation and distribution.

In economic and environmental terms, LPG has an advantage over gasoline and diesel fuel, and therefore is widely used in industry and the automotive industry.

When used as a transportation fuel, LPG emits 10-12% less CO2 than other hydrocarbon fuels when burned.

This fuel is also available even in the most remote corners of the country, which will help improve the lives of millions of citizens, the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC reports.
