Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan with representatives of the German development bank KfW.

It was attended by representatives of the ministry led by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jasur Karshibaev, as well as senior manager and economist for Central Asia of the KfW Development Bank Petar Georgiev, portfolio manager Julia Friesen, director of the bank’s regional representative office for Central Asia Andreas Schneider , project coordinator Malik Mukhitdinov.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of KfW Bank expressed gratitude for the constant support of the bank’s activities in Uzbekistan.

In turn, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jasur Karshibaev informed foreign partners about the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in the economic sphere, in particular about the “Uzbekistan 2030” strategy aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth, about the work being carried out in the field of “green” economy and the positive results achieved.

Also during the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current and future projects.

At the end of the discussions, which took place openly, in a friendly and constructive spirit, the parties agreed to continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
