Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28-29 August, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov, visited Berlin.
During the visit, several meetings were held with representatives of Germany’s official and business circles, including Steffen Meyer, Advisor to the Federal Chancellor on Economic, Financial, and Climate Affairs; Michael Kellner, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action; Sven Schultz, Deputy Director of the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA); as well as heads of German companies and banks such as Edison Technologies, AMK Global, KfW, GessCon, Tipp Oil, Saurer, Svevind Energy, Rhenus Group, CLAAS, Linde, KfW IPEX-Bank, among others.
During the negotiations, a number of new promising areas for mutually beneficial partnership were identified in fields such as the chemical industry, geology and mineral extraction, building materials production, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, green energy, and others.
There was a strong commitment to further expanding the portfolio of industrial, technological, and investment projects and attracting new major German companies to participate in joint initiatives with Uzbek partners.
