The delegations discussed various topical issues concerning bilateral relations. The two sides reaffirmed their adherence to the fundamental norms and principles of international law.

The delegations emphasized the importance of the need to further develop trade and economic co-operation between their two countries, to implement the provisions of the protocol of the sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental commission on economic co-operation, and to enhance and improve of the contractual and legal basis for relations between the two countries.
