Uzbekistan arrived in Portugal to hold two friendly matches against national team of the European country.

Uzbekistan selected defensive approach and Artur Yunusov opened the score for the Uzbek side after 11 minutes. Immediately, Portugal scored the equalizer.

Five minutes later, Portugal scored their second goal. The first half ended with the score 2-1.

In the second half, Portugal netted their third goal on 29 minute. Uzbekistan’s Nodir Elibaev scored second goal of his team on the same minute.

On 38 and 40 minutes, Portugal scored two more goals and clinched a 5-2 victory over Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan and Portugal will play their second match on 19 September 2012.
