Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Receives Outgoing Algerian Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Uzbekistan, Muhammad Irki, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and highlighted the ambassador’s contribution to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Algeria. It was noted that during his tenure, efforts were made to strengthen political and diplomatic contacts between the two states.

The head of Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry expressed gratitude to Muhammad Irki for his work and his contribution to advancing partnership relations, and wished him success in his future professional activities.
