During the consultations, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of bilateral cooperation in politics, trade-economic and science-technical spheres.

The sides also exchanged opinion on actual regional and international issues of mutual interest, including situation in Central Asia and Afghanistan.

The sides underlined necessity for further developing inter-parliamentary cooperation and strengthening of existing legal base between Uzbekistan and Finland.

The Finnish delegation expressed interest of Finland in further expanding trade-economic cooperation and underlined that the sides have great potential for further boosting cooperation in this important direction.

The Finnish side also called for developing bilateral cooperation in tourism through creation info-tours and participation of tour operators in exhibition in Finland and Uzbekistan.
