Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2024, Uzbekistan produced 29.93 billion cubic meters of gas, which is a 4.6% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, according to data from the State Statistics Agency.
Oil production fell from 520,300 tons in January-August 2023 to 485,100 tons in the same period of 2024, representing a decrease of 6.8%.
At the same time, the extraction of gas condensate increased to 828,400 tons, which is 2.8% more than the previous year.
Coal production rose from 3.77 million tons to 4.37 million tons, marking a 15.8% increase.
In January-August 2024, Uzbekistan produced 896,000 tons of automotive gasoline, which is a 0.4% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Diesel fuel production during this period totaled 705,800 tons, a decrease of 0.9% compared to the same time last year.
