Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July 2024, Uzbekistan’s gas extraction totaled 26.15 billion cubic meters, representing a 4.8% decrease compared to the same period of last year, according to the State Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.
Oil production fell from 456,000 tons in January-July 2023 to 424,800 tons in the same period of 2024, marking a decrease of 6.8%.
Conversely, gas condensate production increased to 725,700 tons, up by 2.6% compared to January-July 2023.
Coal production rose from 3.1 million tons to 3.48 million tons, indicating a growth of 12.4%.
During the same period, Uzbekistan produced 789,500 tons of automotive gasoline, a 0.7% increase compared to the previous year.
However, diesel fuel production amounted to 619,000 tons, which is 1.7% less than in January-July 2023.
