Uzbekistan exports tourism services for US$155.5m in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of tourism services’ exports of Uzbekistan reached US$155.5 million in the first quarter of 2013, an information service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The committee said that in line with auxiliary tourism account, introduced by State Statistics Committee in line with the UN World Tourism Organization, the volume of the export of tourism made up US$155.5 million in January-March 2013, which grew by 30.2% year-on-year.

The volume of exported tourism services was US$119.5 million in the first three months of 2012.
