Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first half of 2023, Uzbekistan’s export of melons amounted to US$16.7 million.

According to the Agency on Statistics, Uzbekistan exported 79.9 thousand tons of melon in six months of this year, which is 16.8 thousand tons more compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

The main importers were Kazakhstan with 35.7 thousand tons, Russia and Kyrgyzstan occupy the second place with 29.3 thousand tons and third place with 12.6 thousand tons, respectively.
