Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, agricultural enterprises of Uzbekistan in January-June 2023 exported 3,500 tons of lemons to 7 foreign countries for a total of US$2.9 million.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2022, the volume of lemon supplies to the foreign market increased by 968 tons.

Over the past period of this year, Russia leads the list of countries that bought the most lemons from Uzbekistan - in total, 2.7 thousand tons of citrus fruits were sold to this country.

Kyrgyzstan (388 tons) and Kazakhstan (357 tons) are also among the top three importers.
