Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-November 2022, Uzbekistan exported 7,200 tons of figs worth US$2 million to 9 countries, the State Statistics Committee said.

The export of figs increased by 6,700 tons compared to the corresponding period in 2021.

Countries to which Uzbekistan exported the most figs in 11 months of 2022:

Kazakhstan – 6,900 tons

Russia - 189 tons

Kyrgyz Republic - 84 tons

Balarus - 4.1 tons

UAE - 1.3 tons

Regions that exported the most figs abroad in 11 months of 2022:

– Khorezm region – 2,700 tons

– Surkhandarya region – 2,600 tons

– Namangan region – 1,100 tons
