Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–November 2024, Uzbekistan exported tomatoes worth US$36.5 million, according to the Agency for Statistics.
According to the Agency’s data, during the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported 41,257 tons of tomatoes to foreign countries.
The largest volume of Uzbek tomato exports went to Russia, which imported 31,994 tons of tomatoes in the first ten months of 2024, making it the leading importer.
Kazakhstan took second place, importing 5,515 tons, followed by Kyrgyzstan in third place with 3,599 tons of tomatoes purchased.
In addition, Uzbekistan exported 120 tons of tomatoes to the UAE and 29 tons to other countries.
