Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first eight months of 2024, Uzbekistan exported 162,000 tons of cabbage, amounting to a total of US$42.7 million, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency.

The volume of cabbage exports increased by US$21.5 million compared to the same period in 2023.

The primary importers of Uzbek cabbage were Russia, which purchased 84.8 thousand tons, Kazakhstan with 64.7 thousand tons, and Kyrgyzstan with 7.8 thousand tons.

Additionally, Belarus imported 3 thousand tons of cabbage during this period, Latvia — 1.3 thousand tons, and Tajikistan — 121 tons.
