Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Farudin Abdualimov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association "Uzelttehsanoat," met with Mouaz Al-Yunus, Director of Strategic Development at the Saudi company Riyadh Cables Group.

The main topic of discussion was the implementation of the "High-Voltage Cable Production" project in collaboration with Artikul Asia Kabel LLC, which is part of the Association.

The parties agreed to attract expertise, financial resources, and technological investments from Riyadh Cables Group to ensure the successful execution of the project. As part of their joint efforts, the company also held cooperative meetings with representatives of several ministries and agencies in Uzbekistan to further work on the projects.

The project aims to develop the production of new types of high-voltage cables (110, 220, 330 kV and higher) in Uzbekistan, enabling the country to meet the needs of major foreign projects in the field of green energy.

Special attention will be given to the production and supply of medium and high-voltage cables, which are crucial for implementing ambitious environmental initiatives. This initiative will be an important step in developing Uzbekistan’s electrical industry, enhancing its competitiveness on the global market.
