The first day of the roundtable was attended by representatives of the ministries and committees, as well as other state bodies of Uzbekistan, UzA reported.
Within the roundtable, the draft Budget Code of Uzbekistan was presented. The Budget Code determines foundation of the budget system, its structure, principles, legal relations, budget authorities, budget process and inter-budget relations, budget accounting and reporting, etc.
It was noted that the draft Budget Code was based on norms and clauses of two laws “On budget system” and “On treasure execution of the state budget” and other documents. The new code is the document of direct action and creates single legal base of budget process.
The draft Budget Code also improves methods of forecasting and execution of the budget and based on international practice.
The participants of the roundtable had chance to consider the document and share their recommendations on its improvement.
