Expert Council of Business Forum of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan on trade development and export promotion will holds its session on 24 April to discuss creation of Uzbekistan Exporters’ Association.

The meeting is organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with UNDP’s Business Forum of Uzbekistan project.

Representatives of the Uzbek government, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, public organizations, scientific-research institutions, foreign embassies and international organizations will participate in the event.

The Uzbek leadership determined as one of priorities to simulate export and ensure interests of local producers in short and medium terms.

The realization of this task requires to review existing administration, customs, banking procedures and eliminate barriers to export competitive Uzbek products, expand and assist to development of exporters of Uzbekistan.

It is expected that presentations of “Manual of export activity” and electronic export platform www.exim.uz will be held.

The participants will also have opportunity to exchange opinion on development of export with Uzbek state bodies and enterprises.

The meeting, which will be held in roundtable regime, will also develop recommendations to create Uzbekistan Exporters’ Association and various aspects of its activity.
