Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A group of deputies has submitted a draft law to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis aimed at regulating legal relations arising from the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

The draft law defines the concept of "artificial intelligence," establishes the main directions of state policy in this field, and outlines the functions of the authorized regulatory body.

The document mandates the labeling of information resources created using AI technologies. Additionally, such resources and AI-based information systems must not violate human rights, including life, health, freedom, honor, dignity, and other inalienable rights.

The bill also prohibits making decisions affecting human rights and freedoms solely based on conclusions generated by AI systems.

Furthermore, the document introduces liability for the unlawful processing of personal data using AI technologies, as well as for its dissemination in the media and on the Internet.
