Uzbekistan delegation participates in ‘China–Central Asia’ Cooperation Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The 11th China–Central Asia Cooperation Forum took place in Yinchuan, China, from 25 to 28 October 2024, gathering over 300 participants, including representatives from international organizations and Central Asian countries, including Uzbekistan.

The Uzbekistan delegation, led by Senator M. Parpiev, a member of the Senate Committee on Information Policy and State Transparency, engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening regional partnerships.

Over recent years, the China–Central Asia Forum has become a key platform for fostering cooperation and knowledge-sharing between China and Central Asia. Participants highlighted the forum’s role in expanding economic ties and addressing pressing issues like sustainable development, the green economy, digitalization, and healthcare.

The event concluded with the development of strategic recommendations focused on enhancing collaboration between China and Central Asia. Key areas included deepening trade and economic relations, executing joint infrastructure projects, and expanding cooperation in healthcare.

Uzbekistan’s participation underscores the country’s commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial relations with China and actively engaging in regional integration and development initiatives.
