Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 14 to 17 May 2025, the international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World” is taking place in Kazan, Russian Federation, with active participation from the delegation of Uzbekistan.

This event ranks among the largest international forums, bringing together leading trade companies and official delegations from 12 foreign countries.

As part of the forum, a national pavilion of the Republic of Uzbekistan was set up at the Kazan Expo exhibition complex, showcasing a wide array of domestically produced industrial goods. The Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan presented 58 types of export-oriented products.

Visitors showed particular interest in fresh fruits such as cherries and apricots, preserved national dishes, a variety of spices, canned goods, dried and freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, saffron, juices, soft drinks, and confectionery products.

The delegation led by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, along with executives from several trading companies, visited Uzbekistan’s national stand. They expressed keen interest in the showcased fruits, traditional preserves, and unique spices.

In addition, during the forum, entrepreneurs from Novosibirsk proposed investment projects in Uzbekistan focused on the primary processing of fruit, vegetable, and legume products.

The forum has thus served as a significant platform for expanding Uzbekistan’s economic cooperation with international partners, promoting domestic products on global markets, and attracting foreign investment.
