Uzbekistan defeats Jordan in friendly match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan outplayed Jordan in a friendly match, which was held in the United Arab Emirates on 21 December 2014. The match ended with 2-1 victory of Uzbek side, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
The match was held in Dubai on Sunday. Odai Al Sayfi opened the score on 16 minutes. Sardor Rashidov scored an equalizer on 30 minutes from penalty-kick.
Navruz Alimov netted the winner on 87 minutes to give victory to Uzbekistan.
The match was held within the training camp of Uzbekistan in the UAE. During the Dubai camp, Uzbekistan will also play two more friendly matches against Iraq. The match will take place eon 25 and 28 December 2014.
