The system was created by Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan (MFERIT) within the UNDP project “Support to Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion in Uzbekistan” in line with the resolutions of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures on further introduction and development of modern information-communication technologies” from 21 March 2012 and “On measures on improving process of attracting and using foreign investment and loans from 24 July 2008. The database was created to increase efficiency of foreign investments’ attracting.

Introduction of the system will allow to speed up and simplify process of agreeing and approving potential investment projects among project initiators and corresponding ministries and departments (MFERIT, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, etc.).

Approved projects will be placed at the website of Uzinfoinvest agency - www.uzinfoinvest.uz, where investors can familiarize with them.

Currently, the electronic system was agreed and underwent necessary testing at interested ministries and departments and ready to introduction.
