The committee said that the centers are created in line with the resolution of the Government “On measures on organization of the activities of the Center for development of system “Electronic Government” and the Center for ensuring information safety under the State Committee of Uzbekistan on communication, information and telecommunication technologies” from 16 September 2013.

The Center for development of system “Electronic Government” will develop strategy on developing the system of electronic government, improving business processes of the state bodies in providing services to population and businesses, as well as monitoring introduction and development of information-communication technologies in Uzbekistan.

The Center for ensuring information safety will work on ensuring information safety of information systems and resources of the government, determining and analyzing threats to information safety, as well as develop solutions on improving information safety of the electronic government system.
