Miners’ work is not easy, but today they have technologies such as powerful bucket excavators and tipping trucks, facilities of rock reduction and other which help them to deliver their activities. Besides, established work on management of motor car and railway transportation, electric power and exploration services, telecommunications workers, reparmen, constructors and other specialists promote efficiency.
“We produce coal with the help of conveyer, - said chief engineer of Angren enterprise on coal production by cut-and-cover method Nurmuhammad Usmanov. - Then raw materials are sorted out, loaded on cars and delivered to customers”.
According to the data of OJSC Uzbekkumir, during nine months of this year major customers such as Angren and Novoangren heat-and-power stations at State Joint-stock company Uzbek energy received 2.114 million tonnes of coal. About 217,000 tonnes of raw materials were sent to education and medical institutes, 182,800 tonnes of coal were sold to population. About 10,800 tonnes of coal were exported.
In the present time modernization of production and technical and technological re-equipment were delivered in this mine.
In accordance with the program for development of coal production industry in Uzbekistan during the period of 2002-2010 US$19 million of foreign investments were attracted in this sector. Out of these funds’ proceeds rotary system, which facilitates work of coal mining, was put into operation in Angren coal mine. According to planned stepwise volume increase of coal production, the widespread adoption of modern technology will be continued. The main objective of this massive work is provision of appropriate institutions, social facilities and population with coal and export increase of this type of fuel.
In anticipation of winter heating season start Angren miners have an intention to send additional 837,000 tonnes of coal to consumers.
