Uzbekistan clinches victory over Syria

Uzbekistan national football team started the third round of the qualification tournament of the 2018 FIFA World Cup with the victory.
In the first match of the third round of qualification tournament, Uzbekistan claimed a 1-0 victory over Syria in Tashkent.
Substitute Aleksandr Geinrikh netted the only goal of the match on 73 minutes.
On 6 September, Uzbekistan will face Qatar in Doha in the second match of the qualification tournament of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
