Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 August, Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan Mr. Yu Jun. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of ongoing projects in the transport sector of cooperation between the two states.

In particular, the sides discussed the construction of the railway line "Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China", considered aspects related to the organization of air travel to new directions, as well as the implementation of the agreements reached at the summit in the format "Central Asia-China" in the Chinese city of Xian 18- May 19 this year.

It is worth noting that today the Ministry of Transport is implementing a number of joint projects with China to develop transport logistics, in particular, to increase multimodal transportation on new routes, upgrade public transport rolling stock and introduce advanced digital technologies.
