Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 26 February 2024, a meeting was held at the joint stock company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari with a delegation of representatives of the Chinese enterprise CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC). 

The discussion, focused on the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation and productively advancing future projects in the field of railway transport, marked a new wave of cooperation between the two sides. 

Under the chairmanship of First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC Kh. Rakhmetov and Chairman of the Board of CRRC Corporation Limited Sun Yuncai, strategic steps to modernize railway transport were discussed. Experts discussed important aspects, including the modernization of electric locomotives and localization of production, which reflects the desire to increase efficiency and competitiveness in this area.

It should be noted that earlier cooperation between Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC and CRRC Corporation Limited has already strengthened its position. This creates favorable conditions for the further successful development of joint projects. This meeting was another step towards establishing strong ties and expanding the horizons of cooperation in the railway industry between Uzbekistan and China.

CRRC manufactures products such as high-speed electric trains, high-power locomotives, freight and passenger cars and urban rail vehicles. Currently, CRRC products are exported to approximately 100 countries.
