Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 May 2024, a delegation of the National Social Protection Agency met with the Deputy President of the China International Cooperation Agency, Yang Weiqiong, to discuss future cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of social protection.

During the meeting, projects were presented: creating an accessible environment and ensuring barrier-free access in cities, training specialists at the Beijing Vocational College of Occupational Safety and Social Welfare, sending experts for advanced training, attracting volunteers and rehabilitation specialists, as well as equipping mobile vehicles for social rehabilitation services.

Yang Weiqiong expressed his willingness to support these projects and even offered to support the holding of the World Conference on Social Protection in Samarkand in 2025!

This meeting opens new horizons for cooperation and coordination of projects to promote the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan.
