Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, the final bouts of the Men’s Asian Boxing Championship concluded.
Ten representatives from Uzbekistan’s national team participated in the finals. Despite tough competition, Shakhzod Muzaffarov and Jasurbek Yuldashev lost to their opponents from Kazakhstan by narrow margins, earning silver medals.
The remaining eight Uzbek boxers proved their superiority, confidently defeating their opponents.
As a result, the Uzbekistan national team took first place in the overall medal standings, winning 8 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
This performance allowed the team to surpass the national teams of Kazakhstan, preparing for the Paris Olympics, and Ukraine, which fielded a strong lineup.
The updated Uzbekistan team continues to demonstrate leadership not only in Asia but also on the world stage.
