The session of the commission was attended by the representatives of the Uzbek Agency for Automobile and River Transport, National Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, Transport Department of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Main Department of Customs Control of the State Customs Committee.

The Belarusian side was represented by the officials of the Belarus Embassy in Tashkent, Department of automobile, city electricity transport and subway of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Belarus, BAMAP Association and Transportportner.

The Belarussian side was led by head on management of automobile, city electricity transport and subway of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Belarus Yuriy Korovaykin and the Uzbek side – by Deputy head of the Uzbek Agency for Automobile and River Transport Shoolim Shavahabov.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Igor Sokol participated at the event.

Igor Sokol underlined that mutual beneficial trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus has been developing positively. He said that this helps to develop automobile cargo transportation between two states.

Sokol expressed gratitude to the management of the Uzbek Agency for Automobile and River Transport for solving transit problems of Belarusian drivers and providing diesel at extreme winter of 2012.

At the meeting, the sides considered issues of use of permission at international cargo transportation, exchanged additional permission templates, preliminary quotas for exchange of permission templates. The sides signed a protocol of the session.
