The sides agreed to encourage participation of art works of their countries in international cultural events, organized in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, assist intensification of contacts through expansion of youth and tourism exchanges.

The sides also expressed intention on assisting to study the Uzbek and Azerbaijani languages, distribution of literature, as well as developing contacts between culture and science workers, encouraging activity of culture centers of two countries.
