Uzbekistan coach Mirjalal Kasimov said that it was good match. He added that Uzbekistan will play with Hong Kong within the AFC Cup qualification round on 6 February and this match will serve as preparation to it.

Kasimov said: “It was interesting match. Both teams have good chances to score. Azerbaijan has good, fast players.”

Azerbaijan coach Berti Vogts said that teams played very good. He said that season in Azerbaijan did not start yet as players were tired in the second half.

Uzbekistan arrived in Tashkent on 2 February 2013. Uzbekistan will continue its training camp in Tashkent on 3-5 February. On 6 February, Uzbekistan will host Hong Kong in the first match of the AFC Cup 2015 qualifiers.

On 26 March, Uzbekistan will play against Lebanon within the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
