Jamshid Abdurakhimov added that US$35 billion of them are foreign investments, both direct and preferential ones.
He added that inflow of foreign investments and loans to economy of Uzbekistan grew despite global financial-economic crisis.
He added using existing opportunities, currently over 4,200 joint ventures and foreign enterprises operate in Uzbekistan, including well-known transnational corporations as General Motors, MAN, Isuzu Motors, CNPC, Petronas, LG, Lotte, Kogas, SK, Lukoil, Nestle, Carlsberg, Mitsubishi, Korea Telecom and others.
As earlier reported, the Government of Uzbekistan is planning to attract foreign investments for US$2.913 billion within Investment programme for 2011.
