Uzbekistan attends ITF SLOVAKIATOUR fair - 2019

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Incheba Expo Arena, the largest exhibition center in Bratislava, successfully hosted the international tourism fair ITF SLOVAKIATOUR - 2019. The exhibition was held from 24 to 27 January in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia, Dunyo news agency reported.

This event has been held annually since 1994 and today is one of the major international events in the field of tourism in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Over the three days of the exhibition, more than 80 thousand people visited it.

Uzbekistan at the fair was represented by the travel company Bubo Travel Agency with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Slovakia (with a residence in Vienna, Austria). They organized a photo exhibition of the historic cities of our country, as well as a presentation of its tourism opportunities, during which it was particularly noted the introduction of visa-free entry into the republic for citizens of more than 60 countries.

The participants of the presentation were acquainted with information about the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, personified in more than four thousand outstanding monuments of ancient architecture, as well as beautiful folk arts and crafts.

Lubosh Fellner, director of the Slovak travel company Bubo Travel Agency, said that the company he represents is the largest tour operator in Slovakia offering tours to the historic cities of Uzbekistan.

- In recent years, Slovakia has seen an increase in interest in the Central Asian region and the Bubo Travel Agency has been carrying out an active advertising campaign aimed at attracting more Slovak tourists to the legendary cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent. We are sure that this is a very promising direction, especially since the republic is ready to welcome foreign tourists cordially, and is doing everything to make their trip unforgettable.

Martin Novratil, representative of ITF SLOVAKIATOUR, said that he has been organizing and accompanying Slovak tourist groups to Uzbekistan for several years.

“I am in love with Uzbekistan, which is truly a “pearl of the East” and has a huge number of unique historical and architectural monuments of world importance. The admiration of Slovak tourists causes a harmonious combination of ancient and modern architecture, classical and modern art in the republic, developed infrastructure and warm hospitality of the Uzbek people”, he said.
