The concept determines main directions of development of electronic commerce for mid-term period, ways and forms of expanding competitive area, growth of modern infrastructure and creation of additional jobs, as well as further improving legislation on electronic commerce.
The concept is aimed at determining of strategy of single policy in electronic commerce for 2016-2018 with creation of equal conditions for development of entrepreneurship and interaction of business entities.
The main tasks of the Concept on development of electronic commerce in Uzbekistan for 2016-2018 are:
The Government formed an international commission on ensuring realization of Concept on development of electronic commerce in Uzbekistan for 2016-2018.
The commission entrusted tasks on coordination of the activities of the ministries, departments and other organizations in execution on the complex measures on realization of the Concept on development of electronic commerce in Uzbekistan for 2016-2018 with control over timely, quality and full its execution.
It is expected that realization of the Concept will lead to growth of the volume of transactions, trade turnover, exports of products (services and works) due to increasing number of trade platforms, internet-shops and information mediators.
It also aims to increase coverage of population with ICT, including number of people, using banking cards, form efficient competitive environment for businesses, expand innovative methods of commerce, etc.
