Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on the approval of an international treaty.

By a resolution, the head of Uzbekistan approved an agreement between the governments of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on the creation of a simplified customs corridor.

The agreement was signed on 11 November 2022 in the city of Samarkand.

The President identified the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan as the competent authority responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to send the depository an appropriate notification on the implementation by the Republic of Uzbekistan of the domestic procedures necessary for the entry into force of the said international treaty, as well as on the determination of the competent authority responsible for its implementation.
