Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Turkish delegation recently visited Uzbekistan to discuss and implement a project for the establishment of the "Uzbek-Turkish Seed Testing Center" at the "Uzagroinspection."
During the visit, the delegation reviewed the activities of the "Uzagroinspection" and the State Institution "Center for Quality Assessment of Agricultural Products." Negotiations were also held regarding the opening of the testing center, which is planned as part of the meeting between the leaders of the two countries that took place on June 5-6 of this year.
The Turkish delegation proposed setting up the center in accordance with ISTA international standards, which would allow the issuance of ISTA certificates for vegetable and forage crop seeds.
During the meeting, the parties discussed plans for establishing the center and agreed to accelerate its organizational process.
