Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 February, the director of the National Agency for Social Protection met with a mission from the World Bank to discuss the key stages of the INSON project implementation and the progress made toward its launch.

Director Mansurbek Olloyorov expressed gratitude to the World Bank for its continuous support in developing Uzbekistan’s social protection system.

Special attention was given to enhancing the qualifications of social protection professionals. In collaboration with the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO), training programs will be launched for agency leadership, regional department heads, and specialized experts to further strengthen the country's social protection system.

At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in social protection and implementing new projects.
