Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov held a meeting with the US Under Secretary of State for Citizen Security, Democracy and Human Rights Uzra Zeya during her visit to Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed current areas of bilateral practical cooperation between law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and the United States, ensuring human rights, public order and security.

Issues of combating cybercrime, drug trafficking and human trafficking, as well as prospects for the development of bilateral relations for the exchange of positive experience, were also discussed.

Following the meeting, tasks were identified aimed at strengthening cooperation on current issues.
