Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a working visit.

During the visit, Uzbekistan and the UAE initialed an agreement on legal assistance in civil and economic matters. This document was developed by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, the adoption of this intergovernmental agreement will make it possible to provide legal assistance in issues such as resolving conflict situations that may arise in civil and commercial relations between citizens of two countries, recognition of court documents, and requisition of evidence.

In Abu Dhabi, Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov met with UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah Al Nuaimi. The parties discussed the importance of this agreement and its contribution to facilitating legal issues for citizens of both countries, expressing mutual gratitude.

Abdullah Al Nuaimi shared projects of the UAE Ministry of Justice to introduce artificial intelligence in the field of law and justice.

To further strengthen cooperation between the two ministries, agreements were reached on the exchange of experience, mutual visits and the implementation of additional projects in the field of lawmaking, artificial intelligence, legal services, forensic examination and training of legal personnel.
