Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 8 August, Bahrom Abdullaev, Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Science, Education, and Healthcare, held a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Korea led by Lee Sung Jin, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Health and Social Welfare.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of healthcare, education, science, and social protection.

Special emphasis was placed on exchanging experience in developing the healthcare system, training qualified medical specialists, introducing modern technologies into medical practice, as well as implementing joint educational and scientific initiatives.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to continue active dialogue and promote the implementation of joint programs aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens.
